Global Geophysical Services' Stratigraphic Analysis Projects provide our clients with drilling locations and exploration fairways. The workflow is an integrated process that combines traditional seismic/sequence stratigraphic methods with seismic facies maps derived from multiple seismic attribute volumes for a specific stratigraphic interval. The seismic facies maps/volumes are created using unsupervised neuronal or hierarchical processes that organize or classify the data into similar waveforms or clusters. The maps or volumes are used to steer the exploration/exploitation process to areas of high potential that are carefully screened for recommended drilling locations.
