Weinman PreStack Time Migration uses ray traced travel times, 1 millisecond sampling and high quality anti-aliasing to produce broadband images with with high Signal to Noise. Because diving rays are properly handled in the travel times, steep dips and fault terminations are imaged with high quality. The bandwidth of the far offsets and traces from large migration distances is preserved in the anti-aliasing which yields better gathers for AVO analysis.
